How The PoochSuit by FurSecure^® Was Born

In the spring of 2006, Diane Sullivan, a Certified Pet Dog Trainer in New Mexico, was lamenting to her husband, Tom, the fact that every time she sent her chocolate Standard Poodle, Seamus, to be groomed, she couldn’t let him out to play afterward because he’d come back in with half the high desert stuck on him! “If only we could put something on him to let him go out and play yet protect his coat,” Diane said. That’s when the light bulb went on. For the next 18 months, Diane and Tom painstakingly and carefully developed what is now the PoochSuit by FurSecure^®.

The PoochSuit has been the hit of dog shows around the country due to its simplicity in design, yet effectiveness in nature. The suit is made of rip stop nylon with a breathable mesh around the chest area, a Velcro^® strip along the back, and elastic around the ankles.
